Dental services in Chinchpada Christian Hospital was started on 31st October 2018, looking at the lack of basic dental health care and education among the under privileged members of this community.
A lot of times people with dental problems would suffer in pain for months due to the distance and lack of resources. Small dental problems would progress into severe infections. Some serious medical conditions like oral carcinoma, which could be detected at an early stage would go undetected and worsen. Many people would resort to taking treatments from indigenous practitioners, which would further complicate the situation and develop into serious infections.
Chinchpada Christian Hospital is blessed with a dental OPD equipped with both, a dental chair and a Xray unit. We provide facilities like scaling, restorations, extraction and root canal treatment at minimal costs so that even the most poor members of the community can avail these services. Regular community visits for oral screening, and educating the people about oral health and hygiene are carried out on a regular basis.
