Inaugurated on 15th of December 2022, the newest addition to our infrastructure, the Isolation Ward was made possible through generous support of Medic Assist International and the family of Christine and Barry Shepherd, Rachel and Miriam of Oxford; England. It consists of 10 fully equipped isolation rooms with air filtration system, one nursing room along with donning and doffing rooms. It has also been fitted with biometric door lock, CCTV surveillance system and a fire safety system. The ward is looked after by 2 nursing staff at all times.

We treat about 15 to 20 new TB cases every month, and are currently treating 165 cases, making this isolation ward a great blessing as we can now safely look after such patients without compromising the safety of other patients. It helps us give the best to even the poorest of our people.
